Hi, my name is Vernon Beckstrom.  From 1985 to 2006, I served in the United States Air Force.  In early 2023, I discovered a lump under the right side of my chin.   After several months, the swelling did not go down.  After a visit with my doctor, plus two CT scans, a PET scan, and two biopsies later, I was diagnosed with Follicular non-Hogkins Lymphoma.  My loving and support wife encouraged me to start a blog in the hopes I would be able to help others and that it would be very therapeutic for me.
